Wow. This is one of those images I'm always going to remember. So, so effective. Also, the description of her pregnancy as blood pooling in her belly was really fantastic.
This is so simultaneously beautiful and heartbreaking. I think you took a very difficult subject to portray and made it (and her) seem real without being melodramatic. I really became emotionally involved with this woman's struggle.
